When Lauren was 14 years old, she learned about the profession of physical therapy.  She knew she wanted to work with children and quickly a dream of becoming a pediatric physical therapist was born. Her focus and determination propelled her forward towards achieving that goal.  Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Exercise Science from Messiah College in 2002 and then graduated from Northwestern University in December of 2004 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Since that time, Lauren has gained experience treating a variety of patient populations in multiple settings and states.  In 2022, she took her first course in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) and fell in love all over again with a field of pediatric physical therapy. She has earned her DMI Introductory Level C certification and continues to compassionately implement her clinic experience and evidence-based approaches with an emphasis on caregiver education and collaboration.

When Lauren is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and her goldendoodle named Oakley. Some of her favorite things are stand-up comedy (like Nate Bargatze and Leanne Morgan), going to the gym, solving the Wordle, and enjoying anything with coconut!
