When Lauren was 14 years old, she learned about the profession of physical therapy.  She knew she wanted to work with children and quickly a dream of becoming a pediatric physical therapist was born. Her focus and determination propelled her forward towards achieving that goal.  Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Exercise Science from Messiah College in 2002 and then graduated from Northwestern University in December of 2004 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

 

Since that time, Lauren has gained experience treating a variety of patient populations in multiple settings and states.  She has also been able to implement her extensive continuing education opportunities including Total Motion Release (TMR), electrical stimulation course (TASES and NISE-STEM),  orthotics fitting courses, Dynamic Movement Intervention courses (she is currently an Introductory Level C therapist), Craniosacral Fascial Therapy and more. Lauren compassionately utilizes her clinic experience and evidence-based approaches with an emphasis on collaboration, child's response, and caregiver education.  She understands that each child and family is unique and deserves the highest quality of care and she is honored to be a part of that process.

When Lauren is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her two kids and her goldendoodle named Oakley. Some of her favorite things are stand-up comedy, going to the gym, solving the Wordle, and doing puzzles!
